Our Partnership with genU

A partnership built on community

For over 30 years, Stuck On You has been creating premium personalised labels and children's products for Australian families – trusted for their durability and quality at school, kindergarten, childcare, sport and beyond. As one of Australia's leading personalised label brands, quality, innovation and community sit at the heart of everything we make.

That same commitment to community is why, for over six years, we've proudly partnered with genU, one of Australia's largest community care and disability support organisations. Together, we've built genuine, inclusive work opportunities that support the very people and processes behind every high-quality label we produce – including offering supportive work experience for students and younger adults as they move into the workforce.

Who is genU?

genU is one of Australia's largest care and support providers, supporting people at every stage of life – from disability support to employment pathways and training. Through their employment and inclusion programs, genU matches businesses like ours with motivated people seeking real workplace experience, from short placements through to ongoing employment.

Over the years, Stuck On You has provided supported work experience to 16 individual work experience placements, alongside ongoing weekly group work experience opportunities for school leavers. The partnership helps support the production and personalisation processes behind our labels and personalised products – giving participants real, hands-on experience while helping us deliver the high-quality products families across Australia rely on.

Stuck On You has provided:

  • Work experiencesupported by genU staff, in our production and personalisation areas

  • On-the-job coaching, building workplace and communication skills

  • Pathways into paid employment, supported through genU and JobAccess

  • Ongoing weekly support from genU, even after a participant moves into a permanent role

  • Opportunities for students to gain hands on experience at Stuck On You with genU in their Warehousing and Logistics, Industry Confidence Series

Working alongside genU has also grown our own knowledge of inclusive employment – helping us understand what each person needs to thrive in the workplace.

Meet Georgina: from work experience to a permanent role

Georgina joined Stuck On You as a genU supported work experience participant, building her skills and confidence in our production team. That experience grew into a permanent part-time, paid role assisted by JobAccess – and today she's a valued team member, supported weekly by genU.

“During my six years at Stuck on You I have learnt a lot and am still learning today. The products change and it is fun to learn how to pack and ship them.”

Georgina's story shows what's possible when a business commits to inclusive employment – a real job, a real team, and a genuine sense of belonging.

An inclusive workplace, giving back to our community

Quality and community go hand in hand at Stuck On You. As we continue producing some of the highest-quality personalised labels on the market, we remain just as committed to being an inclusive employer that gives back to the Australian community.

We're grateful to genU for years of collaboration, and we look forward to growing this partnership further.
